Dr. Shuang Ye is the Chief of the Rheumatology Department at Shanghai Renji Hospital. He is a member of the Chinese Rheumatology Association (CRA) and the Vice Chairperson of the Shanghai Rheumatology Association.

Dr. Ye earned his medical doctoral degree from the Shanghai Second Medical University in Shanghai, China; and his postdoctoral rheumatology fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, USA.

Dr. Ye maintains active clinical research programs, for which he has received many grants including the Chinese National Science Foundation Grant and the Shanghai Science Academy Grant. His work has appeared in numerous peer-reviewed journals including NEJM, Lancet ID, Lancet Rheumatology, ARD, A&R. His research interests are lupus, dermatomyositis (MDA5+DM-ILD and ASyS) and hyperinflammatory syndrome.
