Chingching Foocharoen is a Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Her primary field of interest is systemic sclerosis. Since 2012, she has served as the founder and head of the Scleroderma Research Group, Khon Kaen University and has developed a cohort study on systemic sclerosis. She has published many clinical studies on this condition. In addition to her professorship, she currently holds the positive of Assistant Dean of Research and Innovation, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. She also acts as a consultant to the Scientific Committee of the Thai Rheumatism Association. Furthermore, she is an active member of the APLAR Special Interest Group of Systemic Sclerosis.
